Asisat Oshoala, the Super Falcons striker who emerged as the African female player of year 2016, is full of ecstasy after handing over her award to her mother.
The Arsenal Ladies frontman was Nigeria’s shining star at the 2016 African Women Championship where the national female team won the continental prize for a record eighth time, and she was deservedly honoured during the awards night on Thursday, December 5.
And after receiving her trophy, the ‘mummy’s girl’ visited her mum with it and handed it over to her; the mother’s response showed as much excitement as the heart could not show.
Oshoala shared the picture of them together with trophy with the caption: “Proud mum ❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️ #PricelessSmile”
