Chelsea of England midfield player, John Mikel Obi has been invited to the national team ahead of the all important World Qualifiers against Algeria in Akwa Ibom on November 12.
The captain of the Super Eagles is yet to kick a ball for the Blues since the start of the new English League has played twice for the German manager despite the fact that he is no longer a regular with his club.
Mikel was outstanding in the game against Zambia and missed registering his name on the score sheet by the whiskers as Nigeria won 2-1 in a convincing victory in Ndola.
